Tuesday, we had the privilege of gathering for a special plaque dedication honoring Marilyn Kolean, one of the founders of Birthright of Holland — now known as Positive Options.
We were also honored to have co-founder Tara Romano present. Together with three others, Marilyn and Tara helped establish the ministry more than 53 years ago, rooted in a vision of compassion and support for women and families facing unexpected pregnancies.

During the gathering, Tara shared memories of the love Marilyn showed not only to clients but also to those who served alongside her, a love that continues to shape our mission today.

What began as a faithful step forward decades ago has grown into four Positive Options centers serving communities across West Michigan.

We are deeply grateful for the legacy our founders left and honored to continue the mission of loving people to life.
