Senior living community Resthaven has launched a $2 million capital campaign to help finance an addition to its Maple Woods assisted living campus at 49 E. 32nd St. in Holland.

A contained fire occurred in one of the apartments at The Warm Friend in the overnight hours, and thanks to the swift response of the Holland Fire Department and our team, no one was injured.

A special thanks to our neighbor, Bowerman's on 8th, for opening their doors in the late night hours to provide a comfortable place for our residents during the period of evacuation while our community experienced some much needed rain.

Nothing says summer like a trip to Captain Sundae! Each July, we take multiple groups of residents to this local favorite, and it’s some of the most anticipated days of the summer!

A huge thank you to the team members, family members, volunteers, and volunteer groups (North Point Community Church) who make these trips possible—we couldn’t do it without you!
