Some patients with the new Oklahoma Soonercare plans (managed care) are receiving letters trying to steer patients to fill their scripts thru mail order. There is no advantage to the patient to go to mail order and we are asking our patients to please decline. State law prohibits a company from forcing you to. But it’s also the state insurance. So there’s that. 🤪

It’s so ironic the state rolled out their new managed care plan on April 1. It’s already a big one April fool’s joke.

Clinic Pharmacy will no longer be accepting Humana insurance. We are not in network with this insurance as of January 1, 2024. Humana will cover generic medication at our pharmacy but name brand medications are not covered. This leaves you the options of paying cash for the name brand medication or having to move all your medications to an out of town pharmacy. We don’t want to loose patients, but we no longer can bear the burden of these out of pocket expenses.

Patients should consider switching to a different insurance that is in network with our pharmacy, otherwise, you will have to go to an out of town pharmacy to get your medications.
