Happy Summer Solstice!

Happy Summer Solstice! According to TCM, the fire element rules in summer, and symbolizes great Yang activity. During summer, focus on the Heart and Small Intestine, as well as the mind and spirit. The direction and movement are south, with emotions of joy and vocals of laughter, and the taste is bitter. Hydration is always important, and especially so in this season. In many parts of the country, we're experiencing heat waves, and eating cooling foods like mung beans and watermelon could be a good addition.

Classes offered with certification under American Heart Association, the leading BLS course in the country. You can sign up for a re-certification class this Thursday right on our booking website.
