Our monthly Stoke Support Group meets tomorrow at Coastal Blends of Holly Ridge . If you are a stroke survivor or know someone who has, please feel free to join us tomorrow at 4pm.

There is absolutely no charge to attend, and no insurance required. We welcome all survivors as well as their families. We meet monthly on the third Monday of every month.

Have you heard about the revamped Toddler Time at Holly Ridge Community Center yet?

Join us this Monday from 10 AM to noon for a morning full of play, fun and some learning!

Bring your little ones for some playtime. parent interaction and at 10:30 AM, don’t miss the chance to catch our wonderful Speech Language Pathologist, Daniele McLean lead a workshop. She'll be sharing valuable tips to support your child's language development!

Aphasia affects more than just language.

It impacts connection, confidence, relationships, and everyday independence. Aphasia can also lead to frustration, isolation, and emotional strain. Aphasia also affects families, not just individuals.

Let's keep spreading awareness and compassion.
Communication is a human right.

What is Aphasia? Aphasia is a language disorder that affects a person's ability to communicate. It is often caused by a stroke, brain injury, or neurological condition.

It is NOT a loss of intelligence.

People with Aphasia may struggle to speak, read, write, or understand language. But they still think clearly and deserve patience, support, and dignity.

Raise awareness. Choose empathy. Use your voice for those who are fighting to find theirs.
