This week we’re talking about microneedling downtime, one of the most common questions I get!

First things first… when you come in for your treatment at La Fleur, we numb the skin so the procedure is very comfortable. Most clients are pleasantly surprised by how easy the treatment actually feels.

After your appointment, your skin will typically look a little pink, similar to a mild sunburn for the first day or two.

For the first 24 hours, we ask that you use nothing on your skin except the products we provide. You’ll go home with a post-care kit, and we’ll review all of your aftercare instructions together so you feel confident about what you can and cannot do.

Over the next few days you may notice a little flaking or even some purging, which can be completely normal as microneedling stimulates cell turnover and skin renewal.

✨ Pro tip: 4–6 weeks is a great time to repeat your treatment to continue building collagen and enhancing your results.
