🎉 We have some exciting news — meet Melissa Kranack, the newest member of the PRANA instructor family!

Melissa brings an incredible combination of expertise and heart to every class. With a 200-hour yoga certification, a 50-hour sculpt certification from Core Power, and additional training in PiYo and mat Pilates — she's taught over 1,000 classes and co-led teacher trainings in anatomy and musicality. And here's what makes her truly unique: she's also a nurse with current ACLS certification. That clinical understanding of the body means every class is grounded in safety, proper alignment, and genuine care for every student in the room.

In her own words: "I am a connector. I try to get to know my students so I can provide a safe space and also create community." 🙏

Instructor Tammy Friend led a private session for this group of 17 and 18-year-old athletes today, and let’s just say they brought the same energy to the mat that they bring to the pitch. Big smiles, great attitudes, and probably a few sore hamstrings the next morning. 😄

This is exactly what Prana is about — bringing yoga to people who might not have considered it before and showing them what their bodies are capable of. Athletes, this one’s for you. 🙏

1. Start with our Intro Month - unlimited classes for $55
2. Month 2: Choose our Young Adult Studio Membership (5 classes/ month) for $59 monthly OR our Young Adult Prana Membership (unlimited classes) for $79 monthly.

No long-term commitment. Valid ID or proof of age required.

📚 Happy World Book Day from PRANA!

We have a little surprise for you. Starting today, PRANA has a community library, a small but mighty collection of books living right here in the studio, free to borrow anytime. Finish it, bring it back. Find one you love, leave one behind. No library card required. 😊

Here's our one request: if something in the book moves you, a passage, an idea, a single sentence that hits differently, please leave a little note inside for the next reader. A sticky note, a scribble in the margin, a folded corner with a few words. Let's make these books a conversation between our community, one reader at a time.

Books and yoga have more in common than you might think...both ask you to slow down, get quiet, and pay attention. We love that.

And speaking of books, the one in this photo has a pretty special story attached to it! Mike will be sharing it in Monday's Spark Newsletter, so stay tuned. You won't want to miss it. 👀

Today we had the honor of bringing yoga to the men and women of the Holly Springs Police Department 🙏 and what an incredible morning it was.

These are the people who show up for our community every single day, often under pressure, often without enough rest, and always with the weight of responsibility on their shoulders. Getting to offer them a little space to breathe, stretch, and slow down even for an hour meant everything to us.

Thank you to everyone at Holly Springs Police North Carolina who opened your doors and showed up on the mat with open minds and great energy. We loved every minute of it and left inspired by all of you.

This is exactly what Prana is about, bringing the benefits of yoga to the people who need it most. 💙

Today feels like the perfect reminder that the same breath we move with on our mats is shared with the entire planet. Yoga teaches us connection—within ourselves, with each other, and with the Earth beneath us.

Take a moment today to step outside, feel the ground under your feet, breathe in fresh air, and move with intention. Even a few mindful stretches or a quiet meditation can be a way of honoring this beautiful planet we call home.

Let’s practice gratitude, tread a little lighter, and carry that awareness off the mat and into our everyday lives.

Five years ago, PRANA Yoga Holly Springs opened its doors, and this community has been showing up on the mat ever since. Five years of deep breaths, hard flows, quiet moments, and the kind of connections that only happen when people commit to taking care of themselves together.

We are so incredibly grateful for every single one of you who has been part of this journey. Whether you've been here since day one or just found us recently, YOU are what makes PRANA special.

Not everything has to be loud to be powerful.

There’s a certain kind of confidence I’ve found at Prana…

quiet, steady, and completely unforced.
Clean space.

Intentional movement.

Breath that actually slows you down.

No chaos. No comparison. No overdoing it.

Just showing up, moving with purpose, and leaving a little more refined than when I walked in.

Some days it’s a heated flow that sharpens everything.

Some days it’s a slower class that smooths the edges.
Either way, it’s less about doing more… and more about doing it well.

Simple. Elevated. Consistent.

That’s the rhythm I keep coming back to.

Some days, I walk in carrying more than just my yoga mat.

I bring the full week with me — the deadlines, the conversations replaying in my mind, the to-do list that somehow keeps growing, and yes, probably a little tension in my shoulders too.

What I love most is that I never have to leave any of that at the door.

I simply come as I am.

Somewhere between the first breath, the gentle guidance of our instructors, and the quiet pause we so rarely give ourselves, everything begins to soften.

The stress eases.

The mind settles.

Even my shoulders seem to remember they were never meant to live up by my ears.

By the end of class, I’m reminded of something simple but important: taking care of myself is not extra, it’s essential.

At PRANA YOGA Holly Springs, it’s never about perfection. It’s about creating space to reset, reconnect, and leave feeling a little more grounded than when I arrived.

And if a little laughter finds its way in along the journey, even better.

That’s part of the practice too. ✨
