Pre-eclampsia is usually more about how the nervous system is responding to stress when we break it down to the root.

🚗 Gas pedal = stress and alert mode

🚗 Brake pedal = rest, growth, and healing mode

Pregnancy asks your body to spend more time on the brake pedal side so blood vessels can soften, your heart can adapt, and your baby can grow. When stress has been running the show for a long time, it can make those shifts harder for the body to access.

Did you know all of these challenges can be linked together? At Trinity Life Center, we call this cascade of events, “The Perfect Storm.” 🌪️

From prenatal stress to birth trauma, to developmental delays, chronic illness, anxiety, and depression… One thing can and does lead to another! And if you ask your traditional pediatrician about any of these struggles, chances are they may have said, “They’ll grow out of it" or "Just wait and see.” But that isn’t always the approach we, as parents, want to take when it comes to our child’s health!
