I am truly blown away. For the second year in a row, Holly Springs Holistic Acupuncture has been voted #1 for Best Acupuncturist in Suburban Living Magazine!!

This means more to me than I can put into words. I didn’t even realize I was in the running (and didn’t vote for myself 😊), which somehow makes it feel even more special. To know that this came from you, from this community, means the world to me.

I feel incredibly grateful to be doing work that I love while helping others feel better in their bodies, their lives, and supporting them along their healing journeys. I love having my practice in Holly Springs, being part of this community, and getting to know each of you.

This feels like one of those moments that reminds me things are working out… even behind the scenes. That when you show up consistently and lead with heart, it matters.

Thank you for being part of this with me. I don’t take a second of it for granted! I’m so excited to keep growing and continuing to support this community in the way you deserve

Self Reflection and Renewal

The snake sheds it’s skin in order to grow, letting go of what no longer serves

This year represents the opportunity to renew oneself, embrace new possibilities, and leave behind outdated ways.

Transformation is a constant. It’s not about becoming something different, it’s about evolving

This is a good year to look at the lessons learned in previous years and anchor in new values, intentions, and skills.

Cultivate your strengths, look within for answers, and trust yourself

Tenacity

Snake energy is tenacious and resourceful. This is a good year is good to seek out what you want and work diligently to attain it.

Think about it, the Snake has some serious disadvantages having no limbs, and yet it is still able to move, live, and thrive. When people look at their lives, they may see only lack, but the Snake reminds us not to focus on our disadvantages.

Instead, people should look for creative ways to achieve their goals and look at setbacks as opportunities

Set Goals, yet expect the unexpected and be ready to pivot

Flexibility

One of the Snake’s greatest strengths is their flexibility

The Snake encourages us not to be rigid, but to look for alternatives

The snake likes to rest in the sun in stillness but can quickly strike when needed.

The balance between being still then listening to your intuition when it urges you to take action.

What physical, mental, or emotional clutter can I clear out to create space for greater flexibility and adaptability in my life?

Chinese Lunar New Year began on January 29th. It’s a time of huge celebration! Chinese New Year is similar to western astrology and uses animals as symbols (think of the place mats with the animal pictures and birth years at Chinese restaurants).

2025 signifies the Year of the Yin Green Snake. Previous years of the snake were 1941, 1953, 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013 and 2025. There is a ton of symbolism across various cultures concerning snakes. I know a lot of people are scared of snakes and maybe even view them as evil or harmful. However, in Chinese mythology, snakes have a positive association and are considered a symbol of transformation, rebirth, intuition, and introspection. So keep an open mind about the year of the snake!

Over the next few week's we post a brief overview of the symbolism and themes for the 2025 year of the Snake.
