I have the honor & pleasure to join Joel Young with Carolina Multisports on an incredible adventure this weekend! Joel is fulfilling a lifelong dream of riding the Outer Banks along the entire stretch of Highway 12 as his Spring Arthritis Challenge Event!! 😲

We're off to a great start for Day 2, as we head from Ocracoke to Hatteras by ferry! Joel is raising money for the Arthritis Foundation & has a goal to reach $1000 this weekend, with an overall annual goal of $4000. We made it through another year! Some of us saw great accomplishments, while others may have simply just made it through. Regardless - we greet a new year, full of potential for greatness! As you reflect on 2023 - I hope that you're able to see the value and lessons learned. Use that to propel you beyond your goals in 2024!!

A special thanks goes out to all our local responders, healthcare workers, gas station & other store clerks, restaurant workers, military service members, and any other essential workers who are giving their time - often sacrificing being with family - today to keep things going & serve the need for these things.

May those who are working or find this time to be tough, sad, or uncomfortable be met with compassion and kindness. And all who have the privilege to spend time with loved ones have a joyful time creating fond memories together.
