As part of our dedicated team, you'll deliver and set up essential medical equipment—wheelchairs, hospital beds, mobility aids, and more—helping individuals regain comfort and independence.

You'll also educate patients & caregivers on safe equipment use, perform minor repairs and maintenance, keep our fleet in top shape and participate in on-call rotations

What We’re Looking For:
✔️ 21+ years old with a clean driving record
✔️ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
✔️ Friendly, professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills
✔️ Previous experience in home medical equipment is a plus (but not required!)

Additional Drop-off Option: ACMESA has partnered with the North Carolina Respiratory Care Board for additional collection efforts.

Dr. William Croft, Executive Director of the NCRCB, is accepting supplies at the Cary office. If the van is full, it will be driven back to the airport each night. You can also deliver items directly to the airport.

Gov. Cooper proclaimed this week (Sept. 8 - 14) Su***de Prevention Week to bring awareness to su***de as a significant public health issue that affects people across all socioeconomic, racial and ethnic backgrounds.

Last year, 1,525 North Carolinians ages 10 and older died by su***de, making it the ninth-leading cause of death in the state and the second-leading cause of death for people between the ages of 10 and 40.

NCDHHS continues to manage 988, the Su***de and Crisis Lifeline. Anyone can call or text 988 or chat at 988Lifeline.org, 24 hours a day and seven days a week..
