I am so honored to be speaking alongside this line-up of incredibly influential women in both Oakland and Livingston County. This first Girl Dinner will absolutely be one for the books. Caitlin Wilkinson - is the founder of Inspired Ascend, where she guides others in emotional healing, embodied self-discovery, and reclaiming personal power through breathwork, somatic practices, and community spaces. A survivor of domestic violence, she has spent the last decade transforming her own healing journey into a source of strength and purpose, offering compassion, connection, and hope to others walking similar paths.
Jess Mehu - is the founder of Healing Light Studios in Howell, MI where she offers classes, women’s circles, workshops, and 1:1 sessions both virtually and in-person. Drawing from her own healing journey, she compassionately guides others through somatic tools and embodied practices, blending ancient wisdom with modern modalities to support transformation, balance, and self-reclamation.
Alena M. Clark - is an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Michigan with 16 years of experience. She is a recognized instructor for MCOLES, training law enforcement on domestic violence, non-fatal strangulation, and stalking cases. Alena also serves on the State Bar of Michigan Board of Commissioners, is Chair-Elect for the Representative Assembly, and is a Council Member and Treasurer for the LGBTQ+Law Section of the Representative Assembly, and is active with the Women Lawyers Association of Michigan and the Humane Society of Genesee County.
Bobette A. Schrandt - is the President & CEO of LACASA Center, leading the organization since 2008 through a period of remarkable growth, now serving more than 5,000 people annually through prevention, education, and survivor support programs. With over 20 years of experience in mental health and nonprofit leadership, she is recognized statewide and nationally for her expertise in organizational development and mentoring.
