Excited to be a member of this task force.

In partnership with WID (Women in Distress), the Broward State Attorney Office led by the Broward State Attorney, Harold Pryor, was awarded a Grant from the Department of Justice's Office on Violence Against Women of almost $500,000 to improve the investigation and prosecution of Intimate Partner Violence cases. Yesterday was the first meeting of the Broward’s Domestic Violence Task Force. I am happy to oblige.

In Greek Orthodox tradition, red Easter eggs (kokkina avga) are a prominent feature, symbolizing the blood of Christ and his resurrection. These eggs are traditionally dyed on Holy Thursday.

Traveling is about learning the history & culture.
Steeped in myth and legacy, Greece is the cradle of Western civilization. Athens, where we stayed, was the birthplace of democracy. Philosophy was my worst subject but I remember learning about Socrates and Plato. Greece shaped art, science, and politics around the 🌍 .
