Pinch me moment!!! Getting to educate on rheology alongside the “Father of Restylane” was unreal!

Per Winlof, is one of the original scientists who developed and created the very first non animal stabilized hyaluronic acid filler 30 years ago. These are the HA gels that we all use and love today. We owe this man our faces!

I first met Per in 2019 when I had the unbelievable privilege of touring the Restylane manufacturing plant in Uppsala, Sweden and watched the entire manufacturing process of Restylane filler. It was the absolute highlight of my entire career.

Well, I’ve gone and done it!

Continuing to learn more facial ultrasound techniques because I want to be as skilled and proficient as I can be for my patients. To quote my dear friend :
“You can never know enough when it comes to learning how to ultrasound the face for aesthetic injection safety.”
Let me tell you guys, this skill takes so much practice and time to master and you gotta commit!

This weekend I trained with the best of the best! The GOAT! The legendary

Dr Swift has immensely contributed to who I am as an injector and I’m forever grateful. Over the years, he has been an amazing mentor and teacher who always takes the time to answer my pesky emails loaded with questions. 😂😂😂😂

Can’t believe 7 years have past between these two photos (swipe➡️) which was the first time I had the privilege to learn from Dr Swift.

As aesthetic injectors, we must invest time, money, and tons of energy to be the best we can be for our trusting patients. It’s a huge commitment and I never stop!!!

Fridays are training days at illy Aesthetics 🤓💉🤓💉
This doc drove all the way from Orlando to learn from Ilanit for the day. Illy trained her on facial assessment, facial anatomy, rheology and injecting technique. We had lots of fun injecting Botox and Juvederm filler on some really happy models!

Such an honor this past weekend to present as faculty for Galderma alongside Dr. Sachin Shridharani and Tanya Patron,PA-C. I spoke about the Restylane portafolio of fillers and Dysport science which was then followed by a live demonstration of injections.
Was so great to look out to a full crowd of injectors who are hungry to learn and grow with Gain!
