I founded LE Heart Center and now, EL:LE Healing:Heart Center because I saw something so lacking in medicine today. While some are opening their eyes and joining the movement of integrative and holistic care, the spiritual component is still left neglected. One of the most influential books that I came across across during residency, thanks to my mother, was “Anatomy of the Soul: Rebbe Nachman of Breslov” by Chaim Kramer. You don’t understand…..I get it.

How many of us are left?

People who chose a profession that robs them of their best and most youthful years, but to what end, for what cause? Was it for the finest and noblest of causes or for presumed riches, or better yet…so your mother or future wife can claim your status?

Those of us who chose the path of Maimonides never really chose it; it chose us. To be a true physician, one has to be competent in their craft, no doubt, but more importantly, empathetic to the point that your pain is their pain, your death is their death. And in a cynical world filled with crooked “doctors” and medical organizations that claim to “serve the underserved” but only end up serving the devil within, it’s exhausting to being patient looking for a true messenger of the one and only Healer! I get it; I’m one of you as well.
