Our Story

Founder and Clinical Director Dr. Leah Light passionately believes no child should be limited by a diagnosis. Every child has a genius within them and can find success. Our job, as a team, is to unlock each child's potential by looking beyond symptoms and finding the root cause of their difficulties.

Over the past 23 years, Dr. Light’s focus has centered on neurodevelopmental audiology and Central Auditory Processing Disorders (CAPD). In addition, Dr. Light is a certified Core Specialist in the Masgutova Method (MNRI), a program for addressing retained primary reflexes, which are often at the root of communicative disorders and learning disabilities. As a neurodevelopmental specialist, Dr. Light has participated as a guest speaker for the American Academy of Audiology and the Florida Academy of Audiology. She has also written articles for local magazines and newspapers including South Florida Parenting Magazine and The Autism Notebook, and was recently featured in The Miami Herald and U.S. News & World Report. In addition, she authored a chapter in the book, Auditory Processing Disorders: Assessment, Management, and Treatment.

Dr. Light’s mission is to improve listening, attention, and learning skills in children of all ages by addressing the whole child starting at the foundation of their neurodevelopment.
