On Sunday Sept. 7 it is the full moon but also the lunar eclipse. We’re entering a moment where that unraveling could intensify.
Join us on the beach for our full moon Qigong practice!
The lunar eclipse opens a two-week energetic window that ends with a solar eclipse. The total lunar eclipse will be visible in Europe, Africa, Asia and Australia. In other words, the phenomenon will only appear on the half of Earth opposite the Americas.
The next partial solar eclipse happens on September 21st and will be visible only from New Zealand, Antarctica and parts of Australia. The next total solar eclipse won't happen until August 12, 2026, and will be visible from Greenland, Iceland, Spain, Russia, and part of Portugal, according to NASA.
However, if we do not see the eclipses in North America, the powerful energy is still there. These eclipse seasons have long been known—by shamans, energy workers, mystics, and seers—as times of inner and outer disruption. But also of immense spiritual potential. When the outer world becomes unstable, the inner world becomes essential. That’s why doing practices such as meditation, and meditation in motion such as Qigong is so powerful during times like this. During an eclipse, the effects of meditation are amplified!
