Marvin Keyser passed away Sunday, March 2, 2025.
Marvin joined Mended Hearts in 1997 and for nearly 28 years he served as an accredited visitor, served as the MH Vice President, served on the MHI Executive Committee, served as the ARD and RD for the Southern MH region, was past president of Chapter 161, and was the Coordinator of Mended Little Hearts of South Florida. Marvin was the 2012 Volunteer of the Year. His warmth, charm and compassion left a lasting impression on everyone he encountered. He was a dear friend to the staff at MHI and will be greatly missed.

The Mended Hearts, Inc. Vice President Marvin Keyser joined our cardiac rehab program, after facing multiple cardiac attacks.
Today the Mended Hearts Inc. celebrated our new International Headquarters and Resource Center location with a ribbon cutting ceremony performed by the Lee County Chamber of Commerce. This kicks off our inaugural advanced leadership training at The Mended Hearts, Inc. University (MHIU), with classes starting on June 25th. We can't wait to expand our reach and support services through our new training!

Our local community chapters help people understand that there can be a rich, rewarding life after heart disease diagnosis. Members listen, share their experiences and volunteer to talk to other heart patients about what they may face including lifestyle changes, depression, recovery, and treatment.Mended Hearts volunteers offer peer-to-peer support to patients, family members and caregivers via:
