hat provided the underlying framework for my appreciation of how individuals can restructure and transform themselves in a manner conducive to a successful, fruitful life. Here at PDL I want to share my passion for the growth and development of individual personality. I will leave no stone unturned in my quest for the most powerful self-help principles and practices. Whether it's the timeless wisdom of Marcus Aurelius from the 2nd century AD, or the present sage advice of Tony Robbins, I'll present to you only those personal transformation principles that can really change your life. My own life has changed tremendously buy constant exposure to what we commonly call “self-help.” I believe my interest in self-help began with a fascinating classic called “If You Meet the Buddha on the Road Kill Him,” by Sheldon Kopp. The title jumped out at me from the shelf; I bought the book, and that was around the start of my journey to self-discovery. Related to the idea of transforming our inner selves, is the idea of doing the same with our outer life as well. Working at dull, frustrating jobs will no longer be an option for those who see themselves as diamonds in the making. Sustaining, fulfilling work that energizes and inspires us is the only option. In fact, I will ask two simple questions as a standard for what's worthy of our attention.
1. Can this work provide at least $100,000 per year income?
2. Does this work create time, and location freedom? If the chosen endeavor does not fulfill these two conditions, then we'll overlook it for work that does. I know what you are thinking: yes, there are many occupations which can't provide such a high salary, but one could still say they could be fulfilling. You are correct with this reasoning process, but we are aiming for an exceptional life abounding with both inner and outer wealth, as well as the freedom to share our gifts with the world. The human spirit will always long to be free, so financial freedom is also a worthy goal. Now more than ever, with the internet as a basis for action, we can create wealth and prosperity far beyond anything imagined just 25 years ago. So I am inviting you to begin this journey with me, as we create a lifestyle full of beauty, freedom, and hope.
