Take a pause. 🙏

You don’t need a breakdown to take a break.

Step back. Breathe. Check in. 🧘‍♀️Yoga Instructor soeaking here, but it’s relevant to all we do in life. 🙏

Pause — Not because you’re weak, but because you’re wise enough to know you need it.

Pause… to move your body.
Pause… to eat something real.
Pause… to call someone who gets it.
Pause… to be still—even for five minutes.
Pause… when you need it

A pause doesn’t slow you down—it sets you up to do things with clarity, with intention, and correctly.

Even in my yoga practice—where breath leads movement—I find spots where I have to pause. To really breathe in, and sigh it out.
Sometimes more, sometimes less. It depends on the day, the energy, the subtle shifts in how I show up—even in the same routine.

That’s the thing: the pause is never wasted. It gives your system what it actually needs, not what your schedule demands.

This isn’t indulgence. It’s maintenance.
Because you can’t run on empty and expect to thrive.

Golden birthdays deserve golden adventures ✨🌊
My girls celebrated their golden birthday this Thursday and wanted beach vibes only! 🐚☀️[ICYDK: They don’t love to share pics of themselves — so I respect their privacy)
We didn’t have time to travel far (and needed safe waters), but hubby found the most charming little beach spot just 45 minutes away (and not far from Pasadena)—perfect for a quick escape. 💛
The day didn’t stop there—later that evening, we made our way to the Hollywood Bowl for some unforgettable memories under the stars 🎶🌃 (previous post)

This hat has been turning heads everywhere — and I totally get why 🤩.
Big YES energy 🌟 Not just a word, but a mindset I’ve been leaning into lately — at work, in life, in the little everyday moments.
Saying yes has opened doors, brought new experiences, and shifted my whole vibe toward growth and possibility.
It also reps one of my favorite places — Beachwood 💛 A second home filled with slow strolls, jam sessions, cozy cafés, and even cozier friendships.
And major shoutout to my talented friend for making this fun, conversation-starting hat 🎨✨ You crushed it!

Just realized the striking resemblance — tabletop and the dish I ate out of. More importantly, this combo was satisfying and delish:
• crisp lettuce from my FarmFresh2u
• seasoned corn
• fresh avo 🥑
• blackened chicken
• collard greens
• green goddess dressing
Just a delightful affirmation that leftovers can go together so nicely — and save you some time!

Date night - at a Levantine restaurant before heading to the theatre to see Parade.
Had just finished a lovely meal, when the waiter accidentally dropped a tray and bits of hummus spilled on JP - lol! (see tile 3). Oops🫟

Made it out clean though - no stains. JP thought it was funny.
