We are pleased to share that our founder, Dr. Yoav Barnavon, has been invited to participate as faculty at the 41st Annual Atlanta Breast Surgery Symposium, organized by the Southeastern Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons (SESPRS).
The symposium will take place January 30 to February 1, 2026, at the InterContinental Hotel in Atlanta and is widely recognized as one of the leading educational forums dedicated exclusively to breast surgery, with a strong focus on both reconstructive and aesthetic techniques.
Dr. Barnavon will present during the Autologous Breast Reconstruction session, moderated by Dr. Michael Mirzabeigi, with a talk entitled: “How I use the Split Latissimus Dorsi Myocutaneous Flap in My Practice”This session brings together an international faculty of leaders in microsurgery and breast reconstruction to discuss techniques, outcomes, and complex clinical decision-making in autologous reconstruction.
The symposium is jointly provided by the American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) and SESPRS, and serves as a key platform for advancing evidence-based, patient-centered breast surgery education.
Dr. Barnavon’s participation reflects his continued engagement in academic dialogue, surgical education, and the advancement of reconstructive techniques that prioritize both form and function.
We are proud to see South Florida represented among a distinguished national and international faculty and remain committed to delivering the highest standards of reconstructive care to our patients.
