I remember the effort I would make to look for drugs and alcohol…. An attempt that overlooked all that should have had priority in my life, family ,friends, job, housing ,opportunities to have a life beyond my wildest dream ; yet , I chose to exercise all my efforts into a life style that became existence of looking to satisfy a high….. Over and over I would be in a state of pitiful and incomprehensible demoralization, and when God who had many times attempted to liberate me, for my lack of obedience, did liberate me, I don’t even acknowledge Him upon awakening to spend time with Him reading His word….. so sad to think I can do life apart from God …. The result was nil until I let go completely….what are you doing to show your gratitude to God? Ignore Him and Honor Him? Make today count!

⚠️‼️ The next two weeks, 2/4/26 and 2/11/26, The Recovery Bible Study / The Recovery Church of South Fort Lauderdale will be meeting at Lighthouse Community Church (650 South Federal Highway, Dania Beach, Florida, 33004). Renovations are being done at First Christian which means new things are coming soon!!
