You’re invited to the 2nd Annual Essex County Doula Program Community Baby Shower on Saturday, May 2nd! This event is organized in partnership with Israel Memorial A.M.E. Church in Newark and brings together expecting families across the Essex County community.

The afternoon will include a panel discussion on maternal health, along with refreshments, diaper giveaways, and raffle baskets. CFHI-trained doulas will be available to connect with attendees and share information about our services.

This event is open to pregnant Essex County residents.

Join us on Saturday, May 9, at Springwood Park in Asbury Park for House Energy, a free community event hosted by Prevention Resource Network!

From 1–5 p.m., attendees can enjoy music from live DJs, connect with local organizations, and access free health services, including HIV and STI testing, Project REAL LGBTQ+ services, and PrEP information.

This event brings together music, culture, and care in a welcoming environment designed to expand access to services and support community well-being, with support from community partners including Lunch Break and Garden State Equality.

Autism Acceptance Month highlights the importance of understanding neurodiversity and making sure support is accessible at every stage of life. Through our Special Child Health Services program, we work with families of children and young adults from birth through age 21 who are navigating developmental, behavioral, or physical challenges. Our case managers connect families to the resources and services their children need to grow and thrive.

On Youth HIV & AIDS Awareness Day, we’re recognizing the importance of education, prevention, and access to care. Through our HIV Case Management services, we support individuals living with HIV by connecting them to medical care and essential resources, including housing, substance use support, and social services.

We’re grateful to the Monmouth County Vocational School District Adult LPN Nursing Program for donating 96 backpacks to support families across our programs!

These colorful backpacks are being shared with WIC clients and others we serve. We truly appreciate this generous donation.
