If you have dry or sensitive skin, treating acne requires balance — calm inflammation, protect your skin barrier, and avoid over-stripping.

☀️ AM Routine
• Gentle hydrating cleanser
• Azelaic acid to reduce redness + breakouts
• Lightweight moisturizer with SPF to protect and repair

🌙 PM Routine
• Gentle acne cleanser
• Adapalene (pea-sized amount) to the whole face to unclog pores+ prevent new breakouts
• Oil free moisturizer to lock in hydration.
Moisturizers do not make you break out— a healthy barrier heals faster.
Consistency is the key! Give over 6-8 weeks for clearance.

Age spots, also known as seborrheic keratoses, are among the most common unwanted spots on the face and body. The good news? They are very treatable. For this patient in the picture, I had removed the spot via shave removal for a biopsy and I then treated the remaining discoloration via laser.

In 2026, a healthy diet and regular exercise remain the foundation of glowy youthful skin. We now have better, more targeted care for pre-menopausal skin and hair concerns.

A simple few step skincare routine works the best:
• Morning: vitamin C/ peptide serum and hyaluronic acid based moisturizer with SPF >30
• Night: retinol alternating with peptides and a ceramide –rich moisturizer

Look at the ingredients and be cautious of influencers promoting expensive products. Higher price does not mean better results.
Biotin supplements and harsh exfoliating devices may be popular, but they cause more harm and there is no major research data to support them.

HAIR LOSS SUPPLEMENTS:
Herbal supplements can be a reasonable option for individuals who prefer not to use prescription treatments for hormonal hair loss. Evidence suggests potential benefits from:

• Saw palmetto – supports hair density and quality by targeting DHT pathways
• Horsetail extract – contains palmitic acid, which may help lower DHT levels
• Rosemary oil – improves scalp blood flow; some studies show results comparable to 2% minoxidil over time. Cucumin- present in Turmeric is known to decrease overall inflammation and can improve hair growth
• Pumpkin seed oil – anti-androgenic properties linked to visible hair regrowth

These options may be helpful for mild hair loss and typically work gradually. For severe or progressive hair loss, proper medical evaluation is important to determine the underlying cause.
