I started going to Dr. So at So’s Family Wellness in April of 2018 for acupuncture treatment for bone on bone arthritic pain in my shoulder’s rotator cuff. Prior to coming I was seeing the best orthopedic doctors; receiving shots and undergoing physical therapy, but nothing was helping. At a friend’s recommendation and as a last resort, I decided to try acupuncture, yet was very apprehensive because I didn’t know what to expect. I must say that as soon as I started treatment with Dr. So, I was relieved in more ways than one. Dr. So is extremely knowledgeable and has a wonderful manner. He immediately put me at ease by carefully explaining each step of the procedure as he was administering it. After one treatment, my shoulder was already better. Since then I’ve undergone about 10 treatments which has enabled me to exercise with increasingly less pain and with more ease of mobility. In addition, the treatment has helped in reducing frequent bruising and has left my skin much smoother and less dry. Dr. So explains that these are results from toxicity being removed from my body. In addition, Dr. So has used acupuncture to treat my swollen ankle which is due to edema. It has lessened the pain immediately.
Aside from Dr. So’s outstanding knowledge and comfort inducing personality, I am extremely pleased with the customer service I receive at the front desk. The business process is very efficient, there are no long waits and staff has gone out of their way to resolve any coverage issues; they are very friendly and accommodating.
Based on my experience with Dr. So, I would highly recommend their practice and services to anyone looking for an alternative to relieve pain issues that other traditional procedures may not be able to. I am extremely happy with the results and would rate So’s Family Wellness with a perfect 5 star when it comes to practice, professionalism and comfort.
