This Week at Living Simply Well 💫

Hey everyone, we hope you had a wonderful weekend! We're starting the first full week of January and we know this month can feel both hopeful and heavy, like you want a fresh start, but also really need rest. So if you’re craving connection & grounding, its the perfect week to join us!

A couple of quick studio notes:
• There will be no Chair Yoga with Janell this Tuesday morning
• Janell will be teaching Yin Yoga next Sunday from 4–5 PM — slow, grounding, and deeply supportive

P.S. Christine is teaching Sunrise yoga tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. 🌄

🌿 Holistic Happy Hour — 1/9 | 4–6 PM
A casual, FREE come-and-go gathering to connect, chat, ask questions, and feel part of the community. No agenda just space to be together.

🎶 Sound Bath with Angie — 1/9 | 7–8 PM
A deeply calming, restorative experience to help settle the nervous system and invite true rest.

❄️ Winter Day Retreat — 1/10
A full day to unplug and reset with yoga, sound, reflection, nourishment, and gentle self-care.
✨ We still have 7 spots available, and it’s a beautiful way to begin the year feeling supported instead of rushed.

🌱 Wellness Program Meet & Greet — 1/11 | 1–3 PM
A relaxed, no-pressure opportunity to learn more about our 12-Week Wellness Program, meet the team, and see if it feels like the right fit for you.

We also continue to offer private Karma Yoga and Sound Bath sessions, available for individuals, small groups, workplaces, or community organizations; it's a meaningful way to rest and give back.

We hope your Sunday is starting slowly and softly and that today is a day for rest, breath, and coming back to yourself.

✨ Today at 4:00 p.m. — Yin Yoga with Allison ✨
We’re so excited to welcome Allison as she teaches her very first Yin Yoga class here at Living Simply Well 🤍

Yin Yoga is a slow, grounding practice with longer, supported holds that help calm the nervous system, release deep tension, and invite real rest into the body. It’s perfect if you’ve been feeling busy, tight, or just in need of quiet.

Come solo or bring a friend, you’re always welcome either way.

Starting 1/17 | Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. (1st class led by Janell) A steady, grounding class with a set sequence to help you unwind, restore, and reset for the weekend.
Perfect if you love structure, consistency, and a calm start to your Saturday.

As this year comes to a close, we just want to pause and say thank you.

Thank you for showing up for yourselves, for your healing, for your growth. Thank you for trusting us with your time, your stories, your breath, your movement, and your hearts.
Thank you for being part of this beautiful community.

2025 brought so many moments, quiet ones, powerful ones, challenging ones, and deeply meaningful ones. And through it all, our hope is that Living Simply Well has been a place where you felt welcomed, supported, and reminded of your own light.

As we step into a new year, we’re filled with gratitude for what’s been and excitement for what’s ahead, new offerings, deeper connections, and continued opportunities to support you on your wellness journey.

🌿 A New Way to Explore Yoga, Beyond the Mat 🌿

We’re so excited to introduce a new offering at Living Simply Well:

✨ Living the Layers of Yoga: The Koshas, Kleshas & the Eight Limbs ✨
A 10-part yoga philosophy workshop series designed to support deeper self-understanding, healing, and conscious living.

This series invites you to explore yoga as a whole system, not just movement, but a way of relating to your body, breath, mind, and life with more clarity and compassion.

Each session gently weaves together:
• Yogic philosophy
• Accessible movement
• Breathwork & meditation
• Reflection, journaling & discussion

Whether you’re a longtime yoga practitioner, a wellness professional, moving through change, or simply curious about yoga beyond the poses, this series offers tools you can carry into everyday life.

✨ How it works:
• Attend individual sessions ($65 each)
• Or enroll in the full 10-part series ($650)
• Sessions are offered in person & virtually

🤍 Bonus for full-series participants:
Those who enroll in the complete series will receive a printed binder with all workshop presentations, a beautiful resource to support reflection and integration throughout the year.

This is a slow, intentional journey, one layer at a time.

This community means everything to us, and we’re so grateful to walk alongside you on your wellness journey. 💛

As we welcome the New Year, please know we’re here — cheering you on, holding space, and continuing to offer moments of movement, rest, and connection.

The studio will be closed Wednesday (New Year’s Eve) & Thursday (New Year’s Day), but we still have some beautiful offerings before and after!

🌿 This time of year can feel like a mix of so many things.

There’s joy, connection, celebration…
and also reflection, fatigue, emotion, and sometimes a quiet heaviness that’s hard to name.

On top of that, there’s often this unspoken pressure to reinvent yourself for the new year — to have it all figured out, to be different, better, more.

At Living Simply Well, we just want you to know this:
you don’t have to rush.
You don’t have to have answers.
You don’t have to become someone new to belong here.

There’s always space for you to slow down, to breathe, to be exactly where you are, and to gently figure things out at your own pace. 🌿

If your body or heart is asking for a little extra care, we’re holding space this Sunday with a Sound Bath led by Angie at 4:00 p.m.
A quiet, grounding way to release what you don’t need to carry and welcome what feels supportive right now. ✨
