Working reducing cortisol and resetting the nervous system. I can go on and on about this topic!

🧊 Take a facial ice bath first thing in the morning. Plunging your face into a bowl of ice cold water.
🌞 Get at least 15 mins of natural daylight into your eyes (that means being outside with no sunglasses) as close to sunrise as possible.
📲 Do not reach for your phone as soon as you wake. In fact avoid screens for the first hour of your day and the last hour before bed.
🤗The simplest vagal toning exercise- humming. As frequently as you can throughout your day, hum.
When you've finished your working week 🦵Lay down on the floor or a bed and rest your legs up against the wall. Stay there and just breathe for up to 15 mins.

Are you convinced yet that your habits and mind play a significant role in your health and healing?

If you are postpartum, perimenopausal, menopausal the liklihood is that you are living with chronically unbalanced cortisol is very good!

Addressing simple ways to lower cortisol can have a lasting impact on balancing other hormones.

Practice the heel drop. The heel drop is a fantastic way to stimulate your vagus nerve and help to regulate your nervous system and lower cortisol. Set aside just 60 seconds several times a day. Raise up on to your tip toes, hold and then allow the heel to drop without restriction. Repeat this rhythmically whilst focussing on your deep breathing!

Creatine isn’t only for athletes. After supporting multiple births in the same week and running on 30+ hours with no sleep, recovery becomes non-negotiable.
