What we do:

We provide our clients with excellent physical therapy services to help them get better faster and to achieve their maximum quality of life through specialized training in orthopedic manual physical therapy (OMPT). Our hands-on approach integrates the most current evidence-based treatment in each individualized one-on-one session. Our highly advanced manual techniques allow for greater pain relief than conventional physical therapy for a number of different orthopedic pathologies. Our collaborative instruction in specific exercise programs empowers patients to continue their success following physical therapy. Lastly, we seek to create an exceptional customer experience that exceeds our clients’ and their families’ expectations. We will continually strive to improve the health of our local communities through a passionate commitment to clinical excellence and exceptional service. This is an advanced specialization in the understanding of complex orthopedic pathology. It entails innovative clinical training, emphasizing differential diagnosis and manual therapy procedures. Our highly specialized and unique training involves the most current evidence-based practice and evidence-based manual and exercise techniques. We are highly trained in translatoric spinal manipulation, functional massage and advanced orthopedic and therapeutic exercise concepts. In the rapidly changing climate of healthcare the demand on clinicians to provide effective and efficient treatment is growing. Our approach and depth of knowledge utilizes a dynamic structural assessment of the musculoskeletal system that is cost effective. Orthopedic manual physical therapists are highly skilled in the treatment of acute and chronic spinal pathologies, as well as sports injuries and post surgical treatment. Our model allows for advanced examination, communication and decision making skills that integrates hands-on treatment and progressive therapeutic intervention. Our skill set involves post-doctoral training of over 200 one-on-one clinical hours and two years of manual therapy education. In addition, we have a higher commitment to exceptional care through continued professional development as teaching assistants at Oakland University’s OMPT Program.
