Without the continued support of our gracious donors, additional equipment purchases would not be possible for the Hospital. New equipment/resources are vital to the success of Holton Community Hospital and the improved health and well-being of our community. Additionally, funds are needed to further staff skills, knowledge and proficiency. We are so very thankful for the following for donating to the Foundation. Thanks to a generous anonymous donor, the Holton Community Hospital Foundation has had the privilege of designing and sponsoring inspirational signs along the walking trail. These signs feature uplifting mental health quotes aimed at promoting well-being and positivity for everyone to see. 🌿 Huge thank you to Marketing Concepts for printing these and helping our vision come to life! 🚶‍♂️👩‍⚕️ **Join Us for Our First Walk With A Doc Event of 2024!**

We’re excited to announce that Holton Community Hospital has partnered with the Walk With A Doc program for 2024! Come take a step towards better health with us on **May 21st at 12 PM**.

📍 **Location:** Dogwood Park, 222 Parkview Ct, Holton, KS 66436 (Meet at the shelter house on the east side).

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and walk alongside Dr. Lee Schnee, M.D., from Holton Family Medicine, who specializes in Obesity Medicine. Dr. Schnee will share his philosophy on weight management and offer practical tips for staying healthy.

👟 Bring your walking shoes, wheel chairs, scooters, walkers, strollers and your health questions! All are welcome! The trail is paved, and has a 1 mile loop, and 1/4 mile loop.

We invite the entire community to join us for this inspiring and healthful event. Let's walk towards a healthier lifestyle together!

We are at Holton Community Theatre until 5pm and online gifts will be accepted until midnight. We are now 75 minutes into our Thoughtful Giving Day and we have already had almost $72,000 donated to our community. We have now secured the $70,000 Patterson Family Foundation match. This also indicates that between the Patterson Family and Giant Communications and JBN, our community has now raised approximately $185,000 towards our Jackson County Community Foundation Funds.

The generosity and support from our community allows us to be able to support our departments within the hospital by providing them with the most up to date equipment in order to perform exceptional patient care. Recently, the Foundation and the Holton Community Hospital Auxiliary were able to join forces to purchase a new vitals machine for our Outpatient Clinic at Holton Community Hospital.
