We honor the rich cultures, traditions and invaluable contributions of Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander communities to healthcare and beyond. We also recognize that cultural stigma can sometimes make it harder to seek mental health support. We’re here to break down those barriers, offering compassionate care that respects all backgrounds. Healing is for everyone.

You don’t have to have all the answers — just showing up can make a difference. Here are a few ways to start the conversation:

• Ask open-ended questions like, “How have you been feeling lately?”
• Listen without judgment or trying to fix everything
• Let them know you’re there for them
• Avoid minimizing their feelings (“it’ll be okay”)
• Encourage them to seek support if they need it

A simple message or conversation can mean more than you know. Remind someone they’re not alone. 💙
