Today we celebrate National Dog Day and our four-legged friends who bring joy, comfort, and companionship to our lives. At the Veterans Home, dogs play an especially important role, lifting spirits, reducing stress, and provided a special love that only they can give. Big shout out to our volunteers who bring therapy dogs to the Home, including Bright Spot Therapy Dogs, Inc.!
