NAMI-Western Massachusetts, Inc. We are a non-profit organization that offers free support groups to individuals and families, education and training programs, and consumer advocacy.

We are dedicated to helping to improve the quality of life for individuals and families affected by mental health conditions through support, education and advocacy. We also have a volunteer program where members work in the office, on special events, and other activities.

Please join us as we take a walk in support of all those affected by mental health conditions in our community. 1 in 5 people are touched by mental health issues. We will have much to do, plus some fantastic raffle prizes. Enjoy beautiful Stanley Park and support the mission of NAMI Western Mass. Hope to see you there!!!

NAMI Western Massachusetts (The National Alliance on Mental Illness of Western Massachusetts) will be holding its 26th Annual Walkathon Celebration, ‘A Journey of Hope and Recovery’ on Sunday, May 17th, 2026 beginning at 11 a.m. with registration beginning at 10:30 a.m.

The event is suitable for all ages and abilities and will directly benefit NAMI Western Massachusetts’ continuing efforts to help improve the lives of all those affected by mental health conditions and their families.

Join us while having a fun time and supporting a great cause! Among the festivities will be guest speakers, including Alan Wylde and Michaela Hearst, LICSW, activities, balloon twisting, raffles, entertainment and much more! Please help NAMI-WM continue their mission by participating in this Walkathon or by donating to the event easily on our website.

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. NAMI provides advocacy, education, support and public awareness so that all individuals and families affected by mental health conditions can Build Better Lives.
