Vitamin D is crucial for supporting children’s bone health and immune systems—especially during the cold winter months! The AAP recommends that all children begin receiving vitamin D supplements shortly after birth. Babies younger than 12 months of age should receive 400 IU of vitamin D each day, and toddlers and older children should receive 600 IU. Learn more: https://bit.ly/4inQanF

If you have visited us in the office this week, you may have noticed that our staff has started wearing masks again for all patients. This decision was made to protect our staff and all of our patient families; due to very high rates of flu activity here in Western Mass. Masking is not mandatory for patients, however we do ask that you and/or your child wear a mask when here in the office with any sick symptoms. Remember to wash your hands frequently, cover your cough, and stay healthy! We are still offering Flu and COVID vaccines in both offices.
