We understand that our previous post may have caused some concern or seemed abrupt, and we sincerely apologize for that. Our intent has always been to provide the best possible care while maintaining transparency with our community.

This is not a new policy. Insurance companies expect us to make a good faith effort to collect the patient responsibilities, and following this practice helps us remain compliant while keeping billing straightforward and clear. Our goal is to reduce paperwork so we can spend more time caring for our friends and neighbors.

PLEASE REMEMBER NO PATIENT WILL BE TURNED AWAY FOR YOUR INABILITY TO PAY.

YOUR CARE ALWAYS COMES FIRST.

Hereโ€™s what you can expect moving forward:
1. **Copays** For most of us our insurance requires co-pay at time of service.
2. **Deductibles and coinsurance** We will always strive to help you understand your deductables and co-insurance.
3. Payment plans are always available.

This approach helps us comply with insurance guidelines and reduce confusion. Most importantly, it allows our team to focus on what matters most: your health and well-being.

We would also like to clarify that we are not deleting any comments on this post or the previous post. If you select "ALL," you will be able to see every comment from our community.

Thank you for your understanding and for trusting us with your care. We are proud to serve this community.

Important Update for Patients!

Starting October 1, 2025, payment for medical services will be due at the time of your appointment:

Copayments must be paid before your visit.
We'll collect deductibles and coinsurance at your appointment if known.
Self-pay patients: Please pay for services at the time of care unless other arrangements are made.

Why the change? To speed up billing, reduce confusion, and allow us to focus more on your care.
If you can't pay at the time of service, ask about payment plans. No one will be denied emergency care due to inability to pay.

Stay informed through appointment reminders, our website, and the patient portal.

For questions, contact the MMH Business Office at (970) 854-2241.
Thank you for your understanding!

๐ŸŒพ๐Ÿšœ Harvest Season Safety Reminder from MMH ๐Ÿšœ๐ŸŒพ
As we gear up for harvest season, we want to remind our farmers and community members about the importance of safety on the job. The agricultural sector remains one of the most hazardous industries in America, with 448 fatalities reported in 2023. That 20.3 deaths per 100,000 workers.

To promote awareness, the third week of September has been declared National Farm Safety and Health Week. Since 1944, this week has served as a crucial reminder to prioritize safety during the busy harvest season.

Letโ€™s work together to ensure a safe environment for everyone involved in this farming community. Remember, "Safety First, Avoid the Worst!" ๐Ÿ’š
