Registration opens April 1 for Homer Steps Up community walking challenge, a four week event running May 1 – 28, 2024. This event is open to anyone on the southern Kenai Peninsula, and attracts hundreds of individuals on dozens of teams to compete for over $5,000 value in prizes.

MOVE TO REDUCE STRESS | Struggling with stress or anxiety? Even a short amount of moderate-intensity physical activity can reduce feelings of anxiety. You can dance, walk, anything that gets your heart rate up. Aiming for moderate intensity means you should be able to talk, but not sing during your activity.
