I’ve never formally introduced myself but with the recent move to Sioux City it felt like a good time to do so.
I’m Amber, Licensed Massage Therapist, Reiki Master, and owner of Good Roots Massage & Wellness. I’m married to my high school sweetheart (Mr. Barclay) and we have 4 great kids, Natalie (22), Grace (21), Claire (14), and Scout (8). In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, supporting and organizing local events in my community, and daydreaming about future trips and concerts.
I’m passionate about helping people slow down, relax, and reconnect with their bodies. My goal is to create a calming space where you can release tension, restore balance, and leave feeling renewed. I believe taking time to care for your body is one of the most important forms of self-care. I love my work as a massage therapist because I’m able to hold space for my clients so they can let go of the stress and worries of our everyday life. I’m a firm believer that when your body relaxes, it feels safe enough to let go of deeper rooted issues.
