A great reminder! This showed up on my FB memories today. .
We get soooo focused on the number on that little box we step on every day. For some of us if that number doesn’t move or goes up we have such a bad day.

Check me out… seriously. I am THE SAME WEIGHT in each picture. The pictures are taken about 6 months apart. THE SAME WEIGHT yet I am much smaller, leaner, and STRONGER.

I still have bad scale days because I have a number in my brain that I have to be. That number isn’t as important as it used to be.

You can be doing all the right things, but if you’re living in a constant stress response, stuck in fight or flight, your body isn’t getting the safety it needs to repair and replenish.

This was a moment in my conversation with .holistic.psychologist that really stayed with me.

We explored how profoundly the nervous system shapes our biology. When your system is wired for danger, it diverts energy toward protection, leaving repair, recovery, and growth as secondary priorities.

Chronic stress reshapes digestion, immunity, hormones, and cellular resilience. Safety is what allows the body to shift out of survival mode and into restoration.

We're sad to announce that the very last Heidi's B***y Camp class is tomorrow, Tues. 2/24 from 5:30-6:30pm! Come workout for the last time with Heidi and let's send her off with a blast!

We've been so grateful to have had her energy & selfless attitude kicking our booties for over 7 years at SPARC! 💪

She isn't moving, she's just going to focus more of her time on her Personal Training (Changing Tides) & her Anchor Point Gym businesses.

Luckily, another lady has been training with Heidi and is going to start her own workout (HIIT/Pilates) class on Tues & Thurs from 5:30-6:30pm in mid-March. More info to come soon.
