Anette Avant, PT – Anette obtained her PT degree from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in 1988 and
completed a 4 year professional Feldenkrais training program in 1997. She uses her keen senses of observation and palpation to help clients discover HOW they are moving, so they can LEARN to move more efficiently. She incorporates craniosacral and lymphatic drainage therapy into her practice. She is qualified to work with the superficial, deep, and visceral pathways as well as bony articulations using LDT. She works with pre and post-surgical conditions, clients seeking pain relief or those who want to improve their quality of life. Amanda Strittmatter, PT, DPT – Amanda is a graduate of Saint Francis University where she earned her Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy, Bachelor’s degree in Health Science, and Minors in both Neuroscience and Psychology. Amanda has physical therapy experience in outpatient orthopedics, home health, and skilled nursing rehab. Amanda strives to help all of her patients reach their goals and has a special interest in neurologic rehabilitation. Jay Cherok, PT, DPT – Jay is a graduate of Saint Francis University where he instructed exercise classes and worked as a student athletic trainer while completing his Physical Therapy degree. His post graduate experience ranges from home health physical therapy to skilled nursing rehab. The center of his knowledge comes from treating in occupational medicine and in the sports medicine fields. Jay enjoys the challenges that the athletic injuries pose and makes his patient’s health a personal goal. Kenai Physical Therapy is able to deliver whole body health to its patients with the vast array of treatment techniques available. We provide crystal sound therapy, aroma therapy, spinal traction, Kineseo taping and infrared laser treatments to name a few. We also work in conjunction with Langer Biomechanics to provide custom orthotics, sandals, and clogs from subtalar joint neutral casts.
