Recently, three therapists from Healing Hands Massage participated in James Waslaski's orthopedic massage workshop, focusing on lower body techniques. Notably, one of our therapists served as a teacher's assistant. The workshop covered various methods to address conditions such as low back pain, sciatica, SI joint pain, IT band issues, knee pain, hamstring strains, plantar fasciitis, Achilles tendinosis, and ankle sprains and strains. Born and raised in Homer, Alaska has been practicing massage since 2005. She splits her time between Homer, Alaska and the Mammoth Mountain Ski area in the High sierra of california. In her 19 years as a massage therapist, she’s developed a practice focused on sports massage, deep tissue, prenatal, myofascial, medical , and Swedish massage. She also incorporates myofascial release, cupping and aromatherapy. She enjoys working in the athletic community as well as her larger community with a focus on better health.
