Hello! Just a heads-up that my schedule is extremely full (booked solid through July and into the second or third week of August).

I don't like it, but I have to stop accepting new clients for now. Exceptions will be made if you have a gift certificate purchased prior to today, June 22, 2023.

For existing clients, please be ready to plan ahead when you book and let me know if you would like to be added to the cancellation list in case something sooner opens up. Sorry for the inconvenience!!

Hi. Just a quick update on reopening since a lot of you have asked:

I'm reopening according to the New York Forward phasing plan. For now, it's not clear in which phase massage therapists will reopen. I am okay with that. SARS-COV-2 is formidable, highly contagious and can be hard to detect (even with stringent screening). The more time I have to learn and plan for reopening the safer we'll all be.

For now, I'm working on my Business Reopening Safety Plan. I will share more details on this soon so that you will know what to expect when we resume visits.

I miss you all and look forward to seeing you again. Until then be careful and stay safe and healthy.

Hi! I hope this message finds all of you staying home as much as possible and staying well.

As many of you already know, my doors have been temporarily closed as of March 16, 2020 due to COVID-19.

For now, all appointments are cancelled through at least May 1st. I will re-assess as needed and contact you to reschedule once New York is un-paused and it's safe to resume our regular visits.

I look forward to seeing you again in better times! In the meantime, if you need a little help relaxing or dealing with anxiety check out these soothing meditations courtesy of New York State at Headspace.

Myofacial Massage:
Fascia is a web of interconnected tissue that travels the body without interruption; surrounding, supporting, connecting and separating each cell, organ, and all of our systems. It is a medium of communication from cell to cell and organ to organ. Trauma, posture or inflammation can change the consistency of the web, solidifying and shortening fibers and blocking the flow of messages necessary for optimal health. When pulled too tightly, the fascia can put pressure on nerves, muscles, organs and bones, causing pain. Massage can help.
