Have you looked into long term care insurance? Here's someone's story:

My mom has it and it’s been wonderful. My husband and I just signed up for a policy. The younger and healthier you are, the cheaper it is. We’re both in our 40s with no major health issues and each paying about $300/month for it. With inflation, they expect the average cost of assisted living to be around $19,000/month in 20 years so I’d much rather pay the money now to protect us in the future.

Long term care insurance pays for in home care, social day program, and for assisted living. We accept long term care insurance at Portzline!

🌼 Dandelion loves a good belly rub and will happily follow an invitation into your room to keep you company. She’s gentle, affectionate, and always ready to brighten someone’s day.
🍫 Hershey is 16 years young, has just one tooth, and is deaf—but don’t let that fool you! He has a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He absolutely loves attention (sometimes a little extra!), making up for the love he missed before finding his forever home with us a few years ago.
At Portzline Family Home, it’s not just about care—it’s about comfort, companionship, and love… for both our residents and our furry friends 🏡❤️
