Families and residents gathered for an enchanting Arabian Night, complete with stunning décor, flavorful bites and the sounds of ambient music. Colorful costumes brought the theme to life, while the afternoon’s most memorable guest, Prince the camel, won hearts all around.

We’re delighted to announce the reopening of our beautiful garden, now brighter, fresher and more inviting than ever! Residents and families gathered to celebrate with delicious refreshments, small bites and fruit-infused mimosas while exploring the new additions that make our garden bloom.

But this event was about more than just plants. The garden offers residents new life, fresh experiences to look forward to and meaningful opportunities to connect with nature and one another

A heartfelt thank you to Tropical Works, LLC 🌿🌸 for bringing this vision to life and for guiding our residents and families as they discovered all the new greenery that makes our garden truly special.

Turning 100 is no small feat. It’s an incredible milestone that shows a life full of love, strength, and memories. We came together to celebrate Amalia surrounded by her family, with lively mariachi music, delicious food, and plenty of joy in the air. The touches of sage green throughout the party added a special meaning, too. It’s a color of hope, symbolizing healing, balance, and the promise of new beginnings, just right for such a beautiful moment in Amalia’s amazing life. Happy birthday, Amelia!

We recently hosted our 4th Annual Back-to-School Supply Giveaway. In partnership with Start Off Smart (SOS), we welcomed local children who received backpacks filled with school supplies and tablets, just in time for the new school year.

The day was filled with laughter and activity, from bowling and hula hooping to arts & crafts and a cotton candy station. But the biggest highlight? The joy on the children’s faces and the pride in our residents' eyes as generations came together to support one another.

Born and raised in Miami, 94-year-old Jane knows the impact school supplies can have because she used to be a teacher herself. That’s why participating in tomorrow's 4th Annual Back-to-School Supply Giveaway at our community means so much to her.

“I believe this is a worthy cause,” Neva shared. “And I’m very proud to be a part of this and help out our future generation.”

At 93, Helga brings both heart and history to our Back-to-School efforts. A former electronics factory worker, she now channels her talents into painting bowls, flower vases, and charming little figures—all to support our 4th Annual Back-to-School Supply Giveaway for kids from the SOS nonprofit.

“I feel good that we can help,” Helga said. “If we are able to help out in any way, why not this way?”

At 92, Carol still believes dancing keeps you young, but lately it’s her brush that’s been doing the work! She’s been busy painting ceramic angels, vases, mugs and bowls to help raise funds for our 4th Annual Back-to-School Supply Giveaway. 🎨👼

“It feels great being a part of this endeavor,” Carol shared. “And it feels nice to see the look on the kids’ faces once they receive their new school supplies!”

Residents at The Palace Gardens are getting ready for our 4th Annual Back-to-School Supply Giveaway on August 1, and for 93-year-old Barbara, it’s especially meaningful. A lifelong ceramics lover, Barbara has been painting flower pots and vases to help raise funds for school supplies and tablets for local kids through the SOS nonprofit. “It feels good to give back this way, since I can’t donate to charities like I used to,” she shared. 🎨🌺

Residents experienced an unforgettable evening filled with the sounds of the accordion, the aroma of gourmet French cuisine, and the warm hospitality of Parisian charm. Best of all, no passport was needed—just residents' appetite and a love for the finer things in life. Bon appétit!

Uncle Sam and our all-American cowboy wowed the crowd on stilts as residents and families came together for a star-spangled 4th of July celebration. From a delicious BBQ-style spread to festive flag-themed desserts, every detail honored the spirit of independence. Javier Mendoza kept the energy high with live music that had everyone on their feet. It was a day filled with pride, laughter and red, white and blue memories we won’t soon forget!
