Balancing being the mother to an adult son and a toddler, a partner, a business owner, a women! Sometimes it’s just… a lot! On top of trying to be all I was conditioned to believe I was supposed to be in all these roles at the same time!

Is time to talk about it!

Low Tire Pressure (an analogy on letting go)

My tire has a slow leak, so my Low Tire Pressure sign has been on for MONTHS! I refuse to JUST go get a new tire. I don’t want to put in the time and effort it will take to shop for a new tire, pay for and get a NEW TIRE installed.

Instead, I keep putting air into the OLD tire. The tire I KNOW needs to be replaced. But realistically, I’ve paid for a new tire with all the money I’ve spent adding air 2 times a week. I waste time stopping to do this, weekly! I also put myself in danger by driving with the tire pressure being low.

How many of us are investing in something OLD because it’s familiar? because we are comfortable? Because we JUST don’t feel like the process of… something NEW?!

I wonder how much ’better’ or ‘different’ life could be later… if we put in the work NOW for the NEW?!
