Vulcan Speech Group is growing! This summer Jessica Ata joined our team of SLPs and helped us clear our waitlist. Now we thrilled to welcome Claire Tynes to our staff as a reading and dyslexia specialist as well! Our team of pedaitric speech-language pathologists specializes in interventions ranging from late talkers, speech development concerns, feeding difficulties, stuttering, social skills development, and a wide range of developmental concerns. We are in-network with most major insurance companies and we do not currently have a waitlist. Please contact us with any questions or concerns about your child’s speech, language, feeding, or reading development.

As a multilingual SLP, Jessica has extensive experience supporting ESL learners and has worked with children from over 10 different cultural and linguistic backgrounds. 📑🖊 "A 504 plan does not require specific and measurable goals to target a student’s specific areas of need like an IEP does. As a former contract school employee, I’ve heard a 504 plan referred to as a 'diet IEP,' and I think that’s a pretty accurate description!"

‼️While this list from Lane is just a sampling of the scenarios where a 504 could be used, it’s easy to see that a 504 plan could be something that any child may benefit from at one point in time or another.
