Hello everyone! It’s that time of year again, our all natural wreaths are for sale. Although the store front is closed you can still make all your purchases online and pick up on the porch. Wishing you all a safe and happy holiday season!

SHOP HOURS: Our Shop continues to be closed to visitors at this time until further notice. I continue to take orders online, (www.lavendermoonherbs.com) through email, or by phone. We also offer curb-side pick up and local pick up at the Brighton farmers market on sundays from 9-1. Orders are usually ready within 24 hours, and if possible for same day pick-up. You will receive an email when your order is ready. You can also find a small variety of our products at our local "Honeoye Falls Market Place"

It’s that time of year again! Beautiful Goldenrod catching the blame for all our allergy woes. However, as some of you may already know it’s really ragw**d that is to blame! Somehow the two plants have been mixed up in case of mistaken identity for quite some time even though they couldn’t be more different!
Goldenrod (as the name implies) sports beautiful, bright golden flowers. Where as rag w**d hardly boasts any sort of flower at all. Plus the stem and leaf structure are very different. The only similarity between these plants seems to be when they bloom.
Perhaps it is the abundance of showy goldenrod that causes people to blame it for their allergies so confidently. While ragw**d sneakily does all of the dirty work. Ragw**d is pollinated through the wind sending it’s pollen hundreds of miles creating chaos. Where as goldenrod is only pollinated through insects meaning you would need to stick your nose into the flower to get enough pollen to generate a histamine response.
Goldenrod has many beneficial uses! We use it as a wonderful decongestant aid for sinuses, colds and flu in our “Breathe Easy” tea. It also gives a unique and enjoyable pine-like taste.
So this late summer and fall don’t be afraid to add that bunch of Goldenrod to your fall bouquets! And be sure to spread the word of it’s good name.

SHOP HOURS: At this time we have made the decision to keep the Shop closed to visitors at least through the summer of 2020. We will post an update late summer with the possibility of limited Open hours for the fall and upcoming holiday season. Due to Covid-19 we are operating with a very limited staff (me)! Our primary employee, (our daughter), who also ran the shop, had to stop work as she is pregnant with twins which will arrive mid summer! I continue to take orders online, through email, or by phone.
