This year the Honeoye Falls-Mendon Volunteer Ambulance wanted to again give back to the community we so love. We have again this year been collecting food at our base for the local food pantry. This year, we also joined the angel project. We worked with the HFL School District Counselors to "adopt" children in need that may not be able to receive holiday presents otherwise. The Counselors prepared anonymous tickets with a code for each child that listed what each child would like as a gift. We have been so excited to take on this incredible project.

We now need help from the community. Every gift has to be wrapped with the ticket attached and delivered by noon tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 13th. BUT, despite our best efforts, we have 5 tickets left and we are determined to not leave any kid's ticket unfilled. The 5 remaining tickets are shown below. If you are able to help us fulfill these remaining children's wish, we would be very appreciative. Please let us know which ticket you are willing to grab and please wrap the gift and write the child's code on it (we can attach the ticket afterwards) and drop it off at the ambulance base or at the Village Hall before 11:00 am tomorrow, Friday, Dec. 13th. Thank you to our awesome community for the help.

Due to our location and the size of our district, we work with many different law enforcement agencies on a regular basis, including Monroe, Ontario, and Livingston County Sheriff Departments, as well as the NYS Troopers. Thank you for the help you provide us while on-scene, and everything you do to help keep us safe throughout the year

Good evening. It is important that everyone know that there will be a planned power outage by National Grid on Saturday January 6th from 7:30am to 4:30pm. This is the result of an issue found very recently that needs to be taken care of now, and would be unsafe to leave until later in the year.

Our base at 210 East street has been designated as a warming center for the residents of Honeoye Falls and Mendon. please drive around to the back of the building and ring the bell at the double doors. Do not block any of the overhead doors, as we will be having extra members staffing the ambulances and flycars, so we will be in full force during this outage. If you have an emergency, as always, dial 911.
