The holiday season has begun at Ellen Memorial!
On Sunday, we hosted our annual "Family Thanksgiving Dinner" for our residents and their families. It was our largest event ever with over 150 participants.
This beautiful day would not be possible without the love and hard work from the staff. Thank you to the nursing staff who got all of our residents up and ready, to Tammy S., for coming in to open the beauty shop so our residents could look their best, the amazing dietary staff who spent days prepping this delicious meal, and also our activity staff for making sure the event went smoothly.

Happy Veteran's Day from all of us at Ellen Memorial!
We had a beautiful ceremony with our invited guest Ralph Huebner, an American Legion Chaplin. He came in full uniform to give a special prayer and address to all of our residents.
Each resident was acknowledged by name and branch and presented with am American Flag while we listened to military music.
Thank you to all who have served.

A great big THANK YOU, to Dawn W., our CNA from the Gold Unit, who donated so much time and labor to refurbish the gazebo on our patio. She spent her days off in the hot sun painting to brighten up the area for our residents. We are so grateful to have people like this on our staff here at Ellen!

Thank you to everyone who came out for our Third Annual Trunk or Treat!
We had 15 trunks and over 150 children from the community at Ellen Memorial on Sunday. Once they made their way through the parking lot, they got to trick or treat with our residents who showered them with candy and smiles.
