Join Our Team: Part-Time Firefighters / EMTs Needed at Modena Fire Company

We are on the lookout for dedicated individuals to fill roles as Part-Time Firefighters at the Modena Fire Company. These roles involve engaging in firefighting, emergency response, handling hazardous materials, and fire prevention tasks. Our firefighters operate in challenging environments to protect both lives and property.

Eligibility Criteria:

* Minimum age requirement: 21 years old.
* At least five years of experience operating large fire apparatus.
* High school diploma or GED equivalent.
* Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
* Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening.

Necessary Certifications:

* Nationally Certified Firefighter 1 and 2
* Pumps 1 and 2 or Nationally Certified Pumper Driver Operator
* Basic Vehicle Rescue Technician
* Hazardous Materials Operations
* NIMS 100, 200, 700, 800
* Certified Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), with all current classes updated.

Physical Demands:

* Compliance with local, state, or federal physical requirements for firefighters.
* Capable of performing physically demanding tasks during emergencies, training sessions, or maintenance duties, often under extreme conditions such as high altitudes, intense heat, or smoke.
