Everyone at Honey Grove Nursing Center would like to express appreciation to the community and all those who donated to the Angel Tree. Our residents benefit from your love and generosity!

We are excited to celebrate Christmas with our residents on Tuesday, December 20th.

Santa and his elves will be visiting to pass out gifts to our residents.

While our Christmas Festivities look different than usual, due to COVID protocols, we are looking forward to a great day!

Let's talk about Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia.

The two terms are often used interchangeably, but do you know they have some key differences?

🧠Dementia is an umbrella term for a larger group of illnesses that cause a progressive decline in a person’s mental and physical function. Dementia makes it harder to remember, think clearly, make decisions and control emotions. It can be difficult to differentiate age-related changes.

🧠Alzheimer's is a specific, degenerative disease resulting from complex brain changes. It presents dementia-like symptoms that progressively get worse over time. Early warning signs include difficulty in completing familiar tasks and trouble following along in a conversation.
