Hi there everyone! Spring time is right around the corner and will be here before you know it! It’s almost time to get some shoes back on your horses and to start riding again! Let’s get you on my schedule and get ready to get ur horses farrier needs taken care of! I’m starting to book for spring appointments and have some openings now. Hey, it's Bubba with Rockin' S Farrier services. Tonight I got to shoe a breakaway horse and we always put a set of sliders on her. I wanted to show you guys an easy little shoe modification that can go a long way in helping these rope horses from calf horses to heel horses. What this is called is a rodeo slider, what makes it that is the fuller indentation between the top two nail holes. What that does is it gives ur rope horses a little bit of traction as they go to push off their hind end coming out of the box. Which will help prevent slipping and causing unwanted injuries.
